  3. just a few things to simplenews and posting/mailing with amiga-nn
  4. in general :
  5.  
  6. it works fine on my system, but maybe not (but should) on other (different)
  7. UUCP-installations.
  8.  
  9. If you have installed amiga-nn for the first time on your system and
  10. if you are mailing/posting the first time, you should look if the
  11. articles/mails are handled correctly.
  12.  
  13. So you should look at:
  14.  
  15. a)    posting:
  16.     i)        if amiga-nn says 'article posted...'
  17.     ii)        if the news-article is really created in
  18.             uunews:news/group/nmuber
  19.     iii)    if the headers of this articles are correct
  20.     iv)        if the posting is spooled for the appropriate sites
  21.  
  22. b)    mailing
  23.     i)        if amiga-nn says 'mail sent'
  24.     ii)        if spoolfiles in uuspool: are created
  25.     iii)    if the mail-headers are correct
  26.  
  27.  
  28. To be shure, you should so that only on the first few articles - if
  29. you find any errors, report them to me!
  30.  
  31. Remember:    at the moment, its only a prerelease, but it runs successfull
  32.             at least on my machine!
